Conditions of Sale
These Conditions of Sale govern the relationship between Auctionyx (“we”, “us”) and buyers at our timed online auctions. By registering to bid you accept them in full.

1. Registration & bidding
You must register for an account and, where required for a sale, be approved before you may bid. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure; bids placed under your account are binding on you.
All bids are offers to purchase at the bid amount and cannot be retracted. Proxy (maximum) bids authorise us to bid on your behalf up to your stated maximum in the published increments.
2. The hammer & the buyer’s premium
The highest bid accepted at the close of a lot wins, subject to any reserve being met. On the fall of the hammer a binding contract of sale is formed between the buyer and the seller.
A buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price at the rate published for each sale, together with any applicable taxes. The total payable is shown on your invoice.
3. Reserves & estimates
Lots may be subject to a confidential reserve below which they will not be sold. Estimates are opinions of likely selling range and are not guarantees of value.
4. Payment
Payment of the invoice total is due promptly following the sale by the methods we make available. Title to a lot does not pass until we have received cleared funds in full.
5. Collection, risk & title
Risk in a lot passes to the buyer on the earlier of collection or the date payment is due. Lots must be collected or shipping arranged within the period stated for the sale; storage charges may apply thereafter.
6. Descriptions & warranties
We and the seller make reasonable efforts to describe lots accurately, but lots are sold “as is”. Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves as to condition, provenance and suitability before bidding, including by requesting a condition report.
7. Default
If a buyer fails to pay, we may cancel the sale, re-offer the lot, and pursue the outstanding amount and costs, and may suspend the buyer’s account.
